Men’s Health Services Oregon
Many men do not make office visits to see their doctor a priority. Often men will allow small issues to linger and these issues may grow into larger problems.
Men are also more likely during a visit to withhold their true health concerns from their doctor. Often this is due to embarrassment or deeper worry that the problem may be something worse than it may in fact be. Especially difficult for men to talk about are issues related to sexual disfunction, bowel related problems, emotional issues and depression.
All of these issues are important and should be addressed. These symptoms are often due to other health related problems.
How We Help You

We combine nature’s healing gifts and the latest scientific advances to bring you the best possible health care. The goal of all naturopathic medicine is to promote health and prevent illness by addressing the underlying causes of disease.
Toe Nail Treatment
Nail Fungus or Onychomycosis refers to a fungal infection of the nail, nail bed, or nail plate. The nail may appear thickened, yellow, or cloudy in appearance. It can affect both fingernails and toenails contributing to pain, discomfort and weakened nail strength.

What Our Patient’s Say About Us
“Dr Reynolds is great to work with. I think he’s like doctors *used* to be when they took time to work through issues. We look at my lab work together, adjust meds as necessary, we talk about my life at home and how that might be impacting my health, we talk about my wellness activities…both physical and mental. He really does provide holistic healthcare, which I appreciate. I’ve been seeing Dr Reynolds quarterly for around five years”.
“I originally started seeing Dr. Reynolds for a specific medical concern several years ago, and received such excellent treatment and service that I have remained a patient ever since. He really cares about his patients and delivers exceptional healthcare at every appointment. I highly recommend him”.
“Dr. Reynolds have been our physician for 2 years. He is thoughtful, knowledgable and listens to his patients. He helped us both when other doctors failed. His natural approach to healthcare is refreshing and it works. Thanks Dr. Reynolds”.
Men’s Health FAQ’s
What is Bioidentical Hormone Therapy?
Bioidentical hormones are precise duplicates of the body’s own hormones. Taking these hormones is adding something that the body already recognises and knows how to metabolise. Conversely, conventional HRT usually includes hormone-like drugs that are not identical in structure do the body’s own, such as conjugated equine oestrogens or synthetic progestins. As well as binding to hormone receptors, these hormone-like drugs may bind to other receptors, causing unwanted side effects.
How long do I stay on bioidentical hormones?
Circumstances may differ depending on age, symptoms and lifestyle factors. We will decide this issue with each patient individually.
Which symptoms may this help with?
Treatment may help with the following symptoms:
Mood disorders
Fatigue
Low libido
Muscle loss
Brain fog
Headaches
Joint aches
Hair loss
Erectile dysfunction
Insomnia
If you have a problem that is not on this list and wonder if we can help, please request an appointment.
What is testosterone?
Testosterone is a hormone that the body makes responsible for normal sexual development as well as maintenance of other male characteristics throughout life.
The male hormone testosterone is produced by the testes. The amount of testosterone produced by the testes is regulated by both the hypothalamus and pituitary gland.
What are “normal” levels of testosterone?
In healthy men, testosterone levels between 350ng/dL and 1000ng/dL are considered normal. In this range the brain is able to communicate with the testes so that they produce only as much T as necessary to carry out their functions.
What are the benefits of testosterone replacement therapy?
Benefits of testosterone replacement therapy vary based upon the pre-therapy symptoms and other factors, but they can include the following:
- Increased energy
- Decreased irritability and depression
- Improved muscle mass and strength
- Improved sexual desire
- Improved visuospatial cognitive function and verbal memory
- Higher motivation
- Decreased body fat (optimal results received through accompaniment of a diligent diet and exercise regimen)
- Possible improvement in erectile function
- Thicker skin
Can testosterone replacement therapy make me feel more energetic?
One of the most common symptoms of low-T is chronic exhaustion. If you’re relying on an afternoon caffeine boost to get through the day, or you feel like you could take a nap anytime – no matter how well you’re sleeping at night – low testosterone levels are likely to blame.
Can I be too old for testosterone replacement therapy?
There’s no age limit on Testosterone Therapy, and we’ve seen patient’s of all ages reap the benefits of our tailored testosterone treatment options.
